St James' CE Primary can take up to one class each year, but actually takes slightly fewer children. Classes have usually around 24 pupils.

During Autumn Term 1, we worked our way through lots of the ‘common exception words’ (words that do not follow the usual spelling rules). This half term we will repeat those spellings to give the children the oppourtunity to consolidate their learning.
Encourage children to write their spellings out a few times over the week, ready to be tested at school on a Friday.
