Have you completed our annual survey yet?

If you have – thank you. We’ll spend time over the next few weeks considering what you’ve said (and making sure we pass on any compliments).

If you haven’t, there’s still time! We’ll close the survey at 6pm today. Complete the St James’ CE Primary survey here.

Vacancy

We’ve a vacancy for a Senior Administrator at Moortown Primary. Hours are negotiable but around 23.75 hrs per week, term time plus two days (11.45am – 4.30pm, Monday to Friday). Read more about the post.

Sound of steel

This week, children in Years 3 and 4 have been learning how to play steel pan drums. The sound of the steel drums chiming around school all day long sounded great.

Happy and healthy

Recently, children in Year 5 attended a rounders competition at Wetherby High School. They played against other schools showing courage and perseverance.

In fact, Key Stage 2 children have been participating in quite a few physical activity events recently: Bikeability, the Brownlee triathlon, a netball tournament and cross-country events. Thank you to Mr Freeman who has been very busy organising these events to encourage our children to be happy and healthy.
