Lunchtime Assistant: 6.25 hours per week, term time only.
Salary: A1 point 02 (£11.59 per hour).
Due to our growing school, we have a vacancy for a lunchtime supervisory assistant to join our team at St James’ CE Primary School.

We want someone who demonstrates personal qualities of dedication, patience, flexibility and humour. They will be able to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as respond quickly to the changing needs of the school and individual children.
Some experience of working with children would be useful though not essential as full support will be given to the successful applicant.
This role will involve supervising our children to ensure that lunchtime is a fun, active and enjoyable time of the day. The successful candidate will also be expected to supervise the children in the dinner hall. This will involve supporting children while they eat their lunch, helping to keep the dinner hall clean and tidy and ensuring the school discipline and safeguarding procedures are implemented at all times.

The hours will be 11.45am to 1pm, Monday to Friday (6.25 hrs per week), term time only. The post is permanent and is subject to a satisfactory probationary period.
