St James' CE Primary can take up to one class each year, but actually takes slightly fewer children. Classes have usually around 24 pupils.

Focus : families of words
Families of words can be created by taking a root word – basically the simplest form of a word and adding other prefixes and suffixes. For example, agree is a root word and words in the family could be disagree, agreement, agreeable etc.
