Focus : the ‘ee’ sound in different way
This week, we’ve been looking at how the long ‘ee’ sound can be written with quite a few different graphemes (letters).
Your child has a sheet with all the different ways in your book. For each different grapheme, find three words to go with it. Then write down five sentences using your choice of the words.

Since the start of the year we have learnt a huge variety of prefixes and suffixes and how they can change a word. Your task is to create a word family for each of the following words.
For example: interest: interesting, disinterested, interestingly etc.
Remember, for some words the spelling changes when you add a suffix.
