A reminder that the PTA are holding a games night for all pupils in Years 1-6, on Friday 08 June. Entry cost is £2 per child and they will have a drink and hot dog on arrival. If you’d like your child to attend, please tell the office.
On the same night, there will also be an event for the ladies. There will be games, prizes, a candle pool, nibbles and a glass of bubbly, all for £3 entry. Again, if you’d like to attend, please inform the office.

Living and Learning: To use calming down strategies.
To go with our current Christian Value of peace, we’ve been considering ways to calm down. Think back to our lesson last week about ways to calm down e.g counting, breathing.
Your task is to create a page all about ways to calm down. You may choose one strategy or lots of them. They can be strategies that we’ve discussed in class or something that you like to do yourself.
Continue to learn the rules for plurals for a test next week.

‘I can show how to calculate fractions.’
Over the past two weeks, we’ve been re-visiting adding, subtracting and multiplying fractions. Show in a creative way, how we do this.
You could: make a poster; make a PowerPoint; write maths stories; make a rap or something else.
We have been busy planting some flowers around the playground to brighten up our outside area. We just need to remember to water them!
We don’t have a specific spelling list this week but instead years 5 and 6 need to learn the spelling rules for plurals.
This week’s homework is ‘Practice makes Perfect.’
